Chevre Torah Study
Most Saturday mornings
Chevre Torah provides an in-depth discussion of the weekly Torah portion and highlights from the other books of the Bible, combining traditional commentaries with contemporary perspectives and the wisdom of our own experience. No prior knowledge of the texts is assumed. For the Hebrew blessing for Torah study, click here: blessing.

Family Fun
One Saturday morning each month at one of our member’s homes

Join us for a lively discussion of Jewish literature.
Aug 3 – We will be discussing Apeirogon by Colum McCann. This novel explores the Israeli – Palestinian conflict through the lens of two bereaved fathers whose children were killed in the violence. It is based on the work of Combatants for Peace and the Bereaved Parents’ Circle. Sit ‘n Stitch
Second Sunday of each month from 10:30 – 11:30am in the TEE Library at the JCC – our next get-together is July 13.

Summer Picnic
Sun, Aug 17, 11am – 2pm in the Hawk Pavilion at Seneca Park
Have fun and relax with our members and friends at our Annual Summer Picnic. Hot dogs and veggie dogs, water, and plates will be provided. Please bring a dish to pass, along with an ingredient list to help those with dietary concerns. Bring games, too, if you’d like. Note that the playground is also available. We hope you’ll join us!
Tikkun Olam Team
As Reform Jews, we participate actively in Tikkun Olam, “repair of the world.” Our social justice work is done in a variety of ways: education on the issues, advocacy for specific policies and legislation, and implementing our vision through direct action and service.
