Friday Morning Challah Baking 

Join Rabbi Setel and others in baking delicious challah breads at our Temple on Friday mornings. The dough will be prepared at 9:00 am, and then it will be braided at 11:00 am. Feel free to come at either time! This month, we will meet on February, 2, 9, 16, 23

Shabbat Morning Chevra Torah 

Chevra Torah meets on Saturday mornings from 9:15 – 10:45 am for an in-depth discussion of the weekly Torah portion, combining traditional commentaries with contemporary perspectives and the wisdom of our own experience. We’d love to have you join us. This month, we will meet  February, 3, 10, 17, 24

Introduction to Prayerbook Hebrew
Sundays, February 4, 25, 9 AM

Introduction to Prayerbook Hebrew will provide students with the ability to read and understand key Jewish prayers as well as learn about the structure of Jewish services. The book we will be using is Aleph Isn’t Tough: An Introduction to Hebrew for Adults by Linda Motzkin, available through amazon.com (remember to click on the link to Amazon on this website's Home Page). No previous knowledge required.

(Re) Introduction to Judaism

(Re)Introduction to Judaism is an opportunity to learn about Jewish history, practice and belief from a progressive perspective. Part I is an 8 week course covering beliefs and observance. The book we will be using is Judaism: Belief and Practice: An Introduction To The Jewish Religion, Faith And Traditions by Dan Cohn-Sherbok, available through amazon.com (remember to click on the link to Amazon on this website's Home Page).

DOROT (Generations): Purim
